The film takes viewers on a journey that explores the transformative power of music within the Deaf community, revealing how music and art can change the world. El Canto de las Manos is an audiovisual project in which Deaf performers become actors and soloists to present, for the first time, Beethoven’s Fidelio in sign language, under the baton of renowned opera conductor Gustavo Dudamel.
